In my city here, they don't have NARS (oh bummer!). And I've run out of my NARS concealer. Yep.. Hence, a haul has happened.

I went down to Kuala Lumpur to visit my cousins last week, along with a good friend who stayed with me at my cousin's place, so we have decided to go to Pavilion first on the last day of our trip.

I was at first looking for only the concealer, but then I've read many reviews and watched videos about the rave of the NARS Sheer Glow foundation. The primer was an extra buy, since I've decided that my sunscreen is not enough.

The NARS Multi-Protect Primer SPF30/PA +++ (priced at RM145) harnesses the benefits of anti-oxidants, the benefits of anti-oxidants, anti-stress and anti-pollution skincare ingredients to protect, soothe and balance the skin. The texture is ultra light and creamy to the touch, it keeps all skin types in balance by promoting hydration and absorbing oil where needed. This multi-tasking primer works with all skin types to protect and prime the skin for a makeup-ready finish. It's powerful anti-oxidants - shea butter and the Tibetan urnula flower protect against free radicals and the irritation caused by environmental pollutants; they also have Indian frankincense, known for its potent anti-irritant benefits, balances reactive skin and creates a more even tone. It is oil free, alcohol free, paraben free and synthetic-fragrance free. It is dermatological tested and is non-comedogenic.

The next product is the well-known NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in the shade Medium - Punjab (priced at RM165 - kind of pricey if you ask me). It is a glowing, satin-like foundation that gives the skin a healthy glow look, best for dry skin and works well with normal, normal-to-dry, and combination skin as well. It hydrates for softer and smoother skin. It contains powerful anti-oxidants to protect against damaging free radicals and turmeric extract to improve skin's radiance and tone. When the make-up artist at NARS tried it out on me (after putting on the primer), it felt smooth and it is not sticky at all. It is buildable as she covered my skin in 2 layers and it left me a glowy-skin-like look.

Here's a photo my skin after probably an hour after applying the foundation (and after contact with the KL outdoor air):

The last but not least product is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard (priced at RM100). This is my second tube as my first one's life span has ended after about 6 months of constant and heavy usage. It's as per its name, creamy and radiant. It covers up under-eye dark circles as well as blemishes around the face. A little goes a long way, a sad lesson for me as I have thought it would have lasted longer for my first tube.

What kind of NARS products do you like?
Let me know!
