THE HILLSONG UNITED CONCERT - SINGAPORE

8 August 2014

As many have known, I went to Singapore with a good friend in June for Hillsong United's concert.

It was held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on the 15th of June, and the only way we could get there was by taxi from the hotel. And it turned out that it was a very long distance from where we stayed. But thank God we went there about two hours earlier, so we went to have some early dinner and we had to walk quite a distance to go to the stadium.

We bought tickets for Free-Standing (S$102) so we were quite lucky to be in front. We also made a bunch of new friends there. This was a photo of when it hasn't started yet:

The triangular shape-like thing indicated the Mount Zion. It also means the Holy Trinity: The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit; in which most of us Christians know. The stadium is really huge although it is just the old stadium in which the new stadium is still under construction.

I guess I'll just show you the pictures instead of talking then!

The one and only JD who actually reminds me of Skrillex!

 Up next we have:

...the amazing Taya Smith: singer of the song Oceans (Where Feet May Fail).

PS: She rocked Hosanna as well!

There was this part where the lights went off in the whole stadium (on purpose, of course) and the worship leader, Joel Houston came turned on the flashlight on his phone and then, everyone else did the same (including me!). And I think the view was really spectacular because everyone's little effort lighted up the whole place.

The songs that were sung are mostly from the album Zion: Relentless, Scandal of Grace, Nothing Like Your Love, Stay and Wait, Love is War, a few more in which I couldn't remember and of course.. Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)! They also sang Hosanna, Wake and Alive.

To top it off, the concert was amazing! God's presence was so strong that night, and I was sure that He has brought us in that place for a reason. I really had a great time praising God that night and it was one of the best times of my life!

"Seeing Hillsong United" - checked off from my bucket list!

Love,
Angeline xo
