The new launch of fragrance by Burberry comes as no surprise to anyone who is in the beauty industry and world. I was glad that I came across this box of beauty and got my hands on it as I was contemplating for quite a while standing at the shelf of the fragrance thinking if I should buy this, and so I did.

It is the Limited Edition "My Burberry" 50ml Eau De Parfum & the "My Burberry" Body Mist Box Set (£65). If you buy the perfume on its own it would be £65, hence my contemplation. I have to admit that this is my first purchase of perfume by Burberry.

It is wrapped in this beautiful honey-neutral-coloured box that represents the trademark colour of the Burberry brand. Seriously, it is so beautiful that I wondered if I was dreaming when I saw this box set at Boots.

And when you open it...

The packaging is just flawless that I did not regret that I purchased this box set. I know that I don't need that many fragrances but.. I collect perfumes. And I really am a sucker when it comes to fragrances, I'm always absorbed and would buy whatever scents (typically musk, honey and floral) that I really like.

Here I quote the description of the fragrance by Burberry..

"Inspired by the trench coat and its heritage of British design and craftsmanship, My Burberry captures the fragrance of a London garden after the rain.
The scent is a contemporary British grand floral.
Top notes of sweet pea and bergamot fuse with a geranium leaf, golden quince and freesia heart, rounded out with a base of patchouli and rain-tipped damask and centifolia roses.
The bottle reflects iconic details of the trench coat: a bold horn-finish cap echoes its distinctive buttons and the hand-tied bow is English-woven gabardine, honouring the fabric invented by Thomas Burberry over 100 years ago."

Tempted yet? I sure am! And surely I cannot wait to try out the body mist as well!

Have you tried out this fragrance yet? How do you like it?
