OCTOBER FAVOURITES

28 October 2014

Hey hey hey! Guess what?! It's almost the end of October already! Which means Autumn is here and Halloween is going to be so much fun! Anyway, it's also Favourites time so keep on reading!

For the past month I have been loving a few things as I was sticking to the usual beauty routine in which I have not really changed in the past two months.. well maybe just a bit. So I'm going to talk about some teeny tiny minor changes and most of them are new products that I have discovered during the October month (well duh!).

First up, it's the Bourjois Velvet Rouge Edition Lipstick in "08 Grand Cru" - (£8.99). It is the matte edition of Rouge Edition Lipsticks and a bold, matte red colour in which I really, really love. Honestly, after coming here to the UK, I have discovered so many amazing beauty finds that I could wear here! I guess it's because of the hot and humid weather back home that made me dislike matte lipsticks? Well, maybe.

The next one is an old love in which I have long forgotten back home: the Maybelline Falsies Volum Express Waterproof Mascara (£7.99). This was my first mascara that I really love but sadly it clumped and dried out eventually after a long time of negligence from yours truly. But not to worry, I am back to loving you now!

Two weeks ago, I went to Lush. Guess what happened. I bought myself a facial toner water. Yes, not any bath products that I really want to get (because I don't have a bathtub here!), but a facial toner. Anyway, it's the Lush Tea Tree Toner Water (£4.25 - 100g). I am in need of a Tea Tree product and I have not liked the Nivea toner (it was a replacement anyway)... so yeah. I really like this product because it is a spray and I just spray it onto my face after cleansing and pat my face to let my skin absorb it. It works wonders and my skin has cleared up a lot.

Then that happened. My best friend gave me the Jo Malone "Peony and Blush Suede" Cologne (£40 - 300ml). It has a very bold scent of floral and sadly, I did not bring it with me. Who knew that I would need this so much? Well, not really if I am honest, but I really want this perfume so I went to get it. My heart crushed a little inside when I was paying it but it was happy at the same time because I could get it easily here... well, hmm I have no excuse.

Another guilty pleasure is the Daniel Wellington "Classy St Andrews" in Rose Gold (£119). Major guilty pleasure but I have always wanted a leather strapped watch and this one is just a classy beauty.

Anyway, here's my look of the mascara (which you can't really see...eek!) and the matte lipstick! As Halloween is in a few days, I might update you guys with what I have planned to be! Stay tuned and keep a watch on my Instagram!
