THE BOOTS HAUL

11 November 2014

So....I did a massive shopping at a recent trip to Boots. This happened. I felt a pang bit of guiltiness at the till when I was paying but I was happy at the same time. I don't know how I should feel but hey, enough of my rants, let's get on with this!

I am so into nail polishes that I bought 3 at one go (given that I'm still a student, this is crazy). They are the Essie nail polishes with the colours: Bobbing for Baubles, Luxedo and Sole Mate. They're all priced at £7.99 each. Essie nail polishes are really, really thick in texture and they're really long-lasting. They dry up fairly quickly after you've painted on your nails. Definite keeper!

As for foundations, I repurchased the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation in "Shade 52 Vanille/Vanilla" (£10.99). It has a healthy mix serum (as per the name of the foundation) that protects your skin when you're wearing foundation. What a winner! I also got myself the Yves Saint Laurent Touché Eclat Foundation in "BD10" (£30.50) as I'd like myself some dewy skinfinish and long-lasting foundation and this is my now-to-go foundation! I picked this up after I found out that my Fusion Ink's shade (BD20) is too dark for me and I can't return it because I've used it for at least a week or so. I swear that my skin was darker then! No wonder I had to get myself new foundations!

I love my brows bold, so I bought the Benefit's Gimme Brow Mascara in Medium/Deep (£17.50) as my current one is running out. I also want to try the Soap & Glory's Archery selection so I bought 2 different products! They're the Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil in "Brownie Points" (£10) and the Archery 2 in 1 Brow Filling Pencil and Brush in "Hot Chocolate" (£8). Yes, they're in different shades! I know what you're thinking, "3 eyebrow products? Is she crazy?" Honestly, I just love using different eyebrow products, that's all.

As you may have noticed recently that I am obsessed with lipsticks? Yes! Shopping for lipsticks is a must when one goes to Boots! No, I'm just kidding. I picked up another Bourjois Velvet Rouge Lipstick in "07 Nude-ist" (£8.99), and the Rimmel Matte Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in "107" (£5.49). I love myself some matte nude and also dark/berry colours! *wink*

Oh! Not to forget, I also picked up the Real Techniques Foundation Brush (£9.99) and also the Vaseline Lip Therapy Original Petroleum Jelly 20g (£2.18) as my lips get dry as the weather gets colder.

Have you tried any of these products yet? What is your favourite?
