RECIPE: A SPECIAL OMELETTE

A week ago, my flat mate Triveni was making dinner so I asked her if she could make me what she was having, and she said okay. What she made was one of the best and most special omelet I have ever had!

In this post I am going to show to how to make that special omelet for yourself. It's not really that special but it is special to me as she has used a little bit of Indian spice to make this mouth watering dish. I will feature a video of the process but I will also include photos to show you how to cook it step-by-step.

So here's what you'll need:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 slice of chicken ham
  • 1 tbsp of (Indian spiced) chilli powder
  • A tiny saucepan
  • Some vegetable/olive oil (whichever you prefer)


STEP 1
Dice the onions as well as the ham slice into teeny tiny bits and place them into a bowl with the tablespoon of chilli powder. Then, mix them together. Heat the saucepan as well.




STEP 2
Break the eggs into the bowl with the mixture and whisk/beat them until they're fairly all mixed.



STEP 3
Your saucepan should be heated by now. Add about a 50p amount of oil onto the saucepan and turn it around to make the oil balanced on the whole saucepan. Then add the bowl of mixture onto the saucepan. Wait for about a minute or two and flip the omelet around to the other side - you don't want one side of your omelet burnt!

And voila! Your omelet's ready and place it onto the plate. You can enjoy it on its own or with toast! As for me, I like my omelet on its own!
