SKINCARE EDIT: DECEMBER FAVOURITES

9 December 2014

Winter is coming! As you all may have known that my skin is combination oily, I will need to beware of any skincare products I use just to make sure that these products don't break my skin out. In this post, I'm showing you what I currently use for my skin and why are they my favourites.

I probably am one of the people to have very, very sensitive skin, and I can't use any skincare products without breaking my skin out, hence I need to be very careful and I will always need to read many reviews to convince myself that the product works on oily skins. If there is one review where it says it doesn't work for oily skin, I'm out.

One of my favourites is the LUSH Tea Tree Toner Water (£7.95). I've mentioned this in one of my monthly favourites post, and it still is! It's refreshing and antioxidant, so it cleanses my skin pretty well without scrubbing my skin off. This time I got myself the full sized instead of the 100ml as I've run out of it anyway.

The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (£3.32) has been a lifesaver for me and my skin! These days I've been lazy to remove my makeup and cleanse my face properly, and I used this 2 nights in a row, it's improved my skin so much even without using any cleanser! I haven't found Bioderma here in Cambridge yet but this one would suffice.

If there's one night time moisturiser I can't live without, it's the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel (£30). I've been using this since last year and although the difference shows up very slowly, but I'm sure it works.. it's just, very slow. I use this after I remove my makeup and cleaned my face, and after toner, this is what I put on. It's the right amount for one and a half pumps for my sensitive and oily skin.

For blemishes I've been experimenting with 2 products but this is the one I go to now. It's the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ (£15.50). I bought this when I was on a trip in Singapore and it didn't work for me at first (as it's supposed to work in a day or two and I'm very impatient), but now I've been using it continuously for weeks and my skin is clearing up slowly.

Have you tried any of these? What's your favourite skincare product?
