Do you sometimes just get the feeling of not being motivated at all to do anything for the day? Or that you've been feeling crappy for a whole week without motivation of doing anything productive? I have some tips for you!

It's simple, really.

Be yourself. I think most people forget about this, when they're trying so hard to improve themselves they tend to forget themselves. I don't mean forget yourself literally, but more of forget to be just you. You're you, you don't have try to be someone you're not to impress other people.

Do a small kind deed to a stranger. Whether it's holding the door for someone or helping them pick up what they've dropped, say 'thank you' to a someone who serves you at the cash till, etc., do a small kind deed for someone every day. You might not think that it's a big deal, but you may not know that you've made someone's day by just helping them in doing something small. You may not realise it at first, but you'll know that you've made someone smile at the end of the day (one way or another).

Count the good things that you'll be able to look forward to. Meeting an old friend you haven't seen in a long time? Meeting a new friend? Going someplace you've never been to? Look forward to it! It's always fun to look forward to things you're going to do on that day, even though it might make you nervous!

Get some alone time. Sometimes at the end of a long day (or in the morning) you just want to spend some time alone, not seeing or talking to anyone. That's perfectly normal, seriously. Some mornings I just didn't want to get up and go into the kitchen simply because I was feeling crappy. That's alright, know what you can do? Listen to some upbeat songs and dance the funniness outta ya, watch some funny videos, these will motivate you to look forward to your day or to end the night. Trust me, it's fun to be alone sometimes too when you're feeling crappy! See my related post here.

Eat something sweet. I don't know about you, but eating makes me happy, and when I'm happy, I get motivated. So, who wants to join me for some Nutella waffles?! No wonder I'm single (haha) - just kidding!

Smile. Last but not least, this is important. Did you know that even if you're happy and when you smile, your mood lightens up too? Yes, that's true! So smile! You look better when you smile, and what's better, it'll motivate you in some way (it's different for everyone)!
