30 March 2015

It's the end of the month again, yay! This month I've been loving a few different (and new) things, although they were only being used for 2 weeks before they were being put up, let's see...

In my previous post about haircare, I mentioned that I use dry shampoos and this month I've discovered one that actually works for me! Can you believe it? It's the Toni & Guy Cleanse Dry Shampoo and I love the scent of their products! I've used their texturising spray and now I'm adding more to my collection, I just can't get over how good they all smell.

When I was in London, I may have also been shopping for a few new things (thanks Dad!).. If you know me (or my comments), I've been dying to try the one product I've finally got hold of - the Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturiser in Nude. It's buildable and I'm kind of tired of wearing full-coverage foundations so I've decided to let my skin breathe while I have a layer of tinted moisturiser to cancel off the uneven skintones, dark circles, etc.

I know that in the Boots that is nearer to where I live have been this product out of stock for ages because it's so popular but recently they've been restocking it and I'm so happy I finally get to buy the Seventeen Va Va Voom Waterproof Mascara (similar here)! My eyelids are super oily and no eyeshadow primers can stop them, so this actually is really another lifesaver.
I like contouring but I didn't want to buy a palette for it, and when Michelle Phan released her contour stick years ago I was in love with it but my head has decided to not bring it over here, and since Clinique has launched it, I've been interested to try it... aaand yes, I bought it too, the Clinique Sculpting Contour Chubby Stick. It's easier to apply, blends perfectly well and it's not too dark for me at all, I think it's perfect for all skintones!

Lips wise, it's an old but gold product that I really like, it's the L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in 376. It's a dark pink/berry toned colour that it's perfect for any season, and I'd like to wear a non-matte lipstick in the Spring season! I probably should go for a baby pink shade too.. *thinks about going shopping again*

Last but not least in the beauty section, I also have brought my gold-star holy grail that I only use it when I travel, the Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution is the only one cleansing water that I use.

This. This book right here. THE GIRL WITH ALL THE GIFTS. I've finished reading it and I find it so brilliant that I have no words. I was hooked and just like the reviews, the book is amazing. It's about a girl in a dystopian world where she learned that she is one of them. The hungries. But she's so different that she could think and control herself and... I won't give you any spoilers about it but I would recommend you to read it.

It's my favourite book of the month and.. I have no words. I just have to praise Mr Michael Carey for writing this hauntingly beautiful book. Melanie is one brave and intelligent girl.

What are your favourite things this month?

A x
