Quoting from the song "Style" by no other than Taylor Swift, I'm definitely still in love with red lipsticks because they just look so.. classy? Bold? I have no idea but I'm just in love with it!

Because I'm a bold red lipstick lover, I've decided to dedicate a post of my favourite reds because of their glory being shined and served me well [even though it's already Spring but hey, bold reds go with any season].

First up, my go-to red has recently been the YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Lip Stain in No. 9 Rouge Laque as it's a glossy lip stain but it's not so creamy or thick as you swipe across your lips and you get this pretty coverage of a pink toned red. Next up is one of my favourite lipsticks (perhaps the most loved in the MAC world) is the MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick [thanks to the recommendation of Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup and her craze over it], I'm sold. This lipstick is matte but creamy and doesn't dry my lips out while it also provides a very even layer on your lips.

I think for my most worn matte lipstick over winter was Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in Grand Cru - as I'm sure I've been praising this lipstick over and over on some of my previous posts, it's definitely one of the best drugstore matte lipsticks, while then I would also like to emphasise on another favourite of my drugstore matte lipstick, the Kate by Rimmel Matte Lipstick in 107. It smells like berries, glides on my lips smoothly and it's long lasting!

The Rimmel Provocalips in 500 Kiss Me You Fool aimed to provide a maximum coverage and also to avoid stains elsewhere with another end of a clear gel - which is not a very good idea because the clear gel tip has gone red and it looks slightly awful, but it's also one that fades with a sheer colour on your lips while it doesn't budge at all, great stuff. Last but not least, it's a lipstick that I've received alongside with my GlossyBox - Lord & Berry Lipstick Crayon in Kiss. It's not a very bright red but it's more of a coral red lipstick. It's one amazing new product too.

Have you tried any of these yet? What are your favourite classic reds?
