Because it's summer, I like to put on lightweight foundations [or BB creams] while it gives my skin the summer and bronzed glow that every girl would want to look like - the bronze goddess [cue: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Alessandra Ambrosio], with glowy and tan skin with minimal eye makeup but looking effortlessly beautiful. Prepare for a full detail article of the products I use to achieve the look.

For the base, I always put on sunscreen before priming my skin and here I use the Benefit Specialist Dream Screen with SPF45 PA +++ as it's summer so it's crucial to use a sunscreen whenever you're heading out! Then I prime my skin with a primer to set a gap between my skin and the foundation and a recent find has come my way so I have been using the MAC Prep + Prime Skin Base Visage to prime my skin. It has a little bit of shimmer that just gives your skin a natural glow before you put on foundation while it moisturises - a really good primer if you're looking for for a hydrating property.

Then, on to foundation I use the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Youth-Boosting Foundation SPF15 as it is so lightweight on the skin while it gives a natural glow as though you're born with a gorgeous glow. While it is medium coverage I use a concealer to cover up my dark circles and also some teeny tiny blemishes, and I have been using the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Eye Concealer to cover those bad boys up as it too, is quite lightweight for a concealer.

I also like to get the perfect contour with a small hint of blush, so I use the Benefit BeneTint as it's a lip and cheek stain but I find it perfect as a cheek stain instead of the lip stain as it's slightly unhygienic; then I use the Marc Jacobs Beauty O!Mega Bronzer in Perfect Tan to get the contoured and bronzed skin!

I love my eyebrows neat and after waxing a few days ago [Benefit Brow Bar] it has seemingly become thinner but stray hairs being eliminated, I use the Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara to tidy them up better while it fills up some sparse gaps.

On to the eyes I would recommend a (rose) gold eyeshadow but I like to keep it simple myself so I'd usually skip this step, however I have a few recommendations of beautiful eyeshadows to achieve the bronzed eyes - Half Baked from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, Burnout and Trick from the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, NARS Single Eyeshadow in Valhalla, NARS Christopher Kane Eyeshadow in Outer Limits, Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow in Marie Antoinette, Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette Color Coded Eyeshadow Quad in Dolce Vita.

As I would've skipped the eyeshadow step this time, I love wearing eyeliners that make my eyes look bigger while the line looks natural, if you have been a reader for a long time you would have known that the holy grail eyeliner I use is the Stila Stay All-Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner and I use Dark Brown at the moment. Then I curl my eyelashes with the only eyelash curler that works for my eyes and that will be the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler, and except for the Sephora one as well. I then move on to mascara as this is also a new find at Sephora - NYX Lush Full Figured Mascara where it's lengthening and waterproof at the same time which is the best of both worlds!

Lastlyyyyy [finally], I set my makeup by using the Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray to set my face and also to keep the oil-shine at bay; the De-Slick is perfect for those with oily skin! Actually, no it wasn't the last step yet, I love wearing lip balms and in summer especially I don't wear as much lipsticks as I usually do; and the lip balms score a bonus if they're tinted so my ultimate favourite is the Dior Addict Lip Glow because it smells amazing and it gives a slight tint with the strong moisturising properties without making your lips look shiny or glossy! Alternatively, whenever I like a more tinted lip balm I reach out for the FRESH Sugar Lip Balm in Ruby as it gives a more rosy colour on the lips without looking too heavy.

What are your essential products for the summer look?

P/S: I'll be creating another look for my birthday face in 2 weeks, so watch this space!
