JULY BEAUTY FAVOURITES

28 July 2015

My favourite month is finally come to an end - which also means that summer is soon to be over, though there is still another month to enjoy the heat and everything else before the seasons change again.. but then again, it's the end of another month, hence another beauty favourites time!

CLARINS GENTLE FOAMING CLEANSER WITH SHEA BUTTER FOR FRY & SENSITIVE SKIN

I've been experimenting with a new cleanser and today I'm shedding light on this one. It's a foaming cleanser and I did say that I dislike foaming cleansers but this one is just.. different. It doesn't really foam as much and also I expect the shea butter to be working its charm so it's making my skin pretty alright (not good, but alright).

AĒSOP PARSLEY SEED CLEANSING MASQUE

Ooh I had no idea that I would adore a mask this much! I did love GlamGlow's and Origins' mask, but this one is just that amazing. I use it twice a week and focused more on those blemishes and they significantly looked diminished after use which is what I was looking for. I expect to try their concentrate masque soon as well!

TARTE MARACUJA C-BRIGHTER EYE TREATMENT

Remember that I've actually never spoken about eye creams before? That was because I rarely use eye-creams (and thinking that I don't need them) but then my dark circles became so obvious so I picked this one up [recommended by my best friend again] and it just brightens up my under-eyes and also packed with Vitamin C and Maracuja oil, it's perfect for starters who want to banish their dark under-eye circles!

ESTELLE & THILD BIOCLEANSE MULTI-ACTION FACIAL TONER

I think I've went through at least 4-5 bottles of Serozinc and supposed it was time to change. It smells heavenly [like a bed full of roses] while it soothes the skin and wipes away all remainder of impurities, the toner itself isn't really harsh or any sort as it's alchohol-free and meant to hydrate your skin.

CLINIQUE EVEN BETTER DARK SPOT DEFENSE SPF45

One of my favourite sunscreens and I find myself unable to put this down, especially with its sheer-tint as it smoothens out the skin a slight bit while letting the skin breathe. It's also crucial to use a sunscreen especially in this hot summer weather I'm currently living in with all sorts of UV rays piercing in.

LANEIGE BB CUSHION

This month I've switched to using a BB Cushion instead of liquid foundations as it's medium to full coverage while its original properties are BB and that I wouldn't really want to wear on liquid or powder foundation that would make my skin cakey. I love the NARS Sheer Glow but in the summer, I'm picking this over any other foundations!

MAYBELLINE BIG EYES WATERPROOF MASCARA

Another one of my best friends recommended this as she sings at gigs and would use waterproof makeup, and then she told me to get this as it was on a sale. I never looked back, honestly! If there is one drugstore mascara you should get (I'd probably said this a few times but hey, a few great ones), this is the one you should be looking for. It comes in two sides as one is for the upper lashes for a volumised effect and the other side is for the lower lashes if you ever need to make your eyes pop with an amazing mascara!

REVLON HD LIPSTICK IN GLADIOLUS

Emma Stone's advert for Revlon lipsticks blew me away [did I mention she's one of my woman crushes?], and this shade is the shade that she has used in the advert and oh my, it smells amazing of berries and the lipstick glides on my lips smoothly and doesn't really budge much once it's settled in. It's not a matte lipstick but a great drugstore bold red if you're looking for one!

Have you tried any of these? What have you been loving this month?
