THE SKINCARE EDIT: CLEANSERS

30 July 2015

In the world of revolutionary beauty, all things beauty are evolving - including skincare and we get things like 'purifying', 'evolutionary', 'magical' etc.. Trust me when I say that I have been trying these cleansers from the past year but today I'd love to shed some light on the products that we reach out to wash our faces twice a day.

CLARINS GENTLE FOAMING CLEANSER WITH SHEA BUTTER

I just spoke about this on my previous monthly favourites (here), and even though on the description it says it's for dry or sensitive skin, I find it not oily as a cleanser base and it foams a slight bit. On the skin it's like a dream - especially with the scent of the shea butter, the cleanser is made for a good home spa day where the shea butter just relaxes you fully.

RADICAL HYDRATING CLEANSER

A few months ago I spoke highly of this cleanser, and I find it pretty good for a cleanser that works for every skin-type, mainly noting on the drier skins. The base is slightly oily but containing Trylacel to break down the particles to cleanse the skin properly. With its function to cleanse, tone and hydrate, the cleanser is revolutionary for those who needs a cleanser that does it all.

JURLIQUE SOOTHING FOAMING CLEANSER

A cleanser that I've been using since I was 19 after I went for a extracting facial at the Jurlique store. As it does what it says on the title, it's a foaming cleanser that does all the calming and soothing properties. The cleanser is made for those who have sensitive skin (coughs, me), and I couldn't fathom why I let this go until summer when I rediscovered its greatness.

KATE SOMERVILLE PURIFY CLARIFYING CLEANSER

A cleanser made to jot-start you for the day. Packed with peppermint, it gives you the refreshing feeling for you and on your skin to allow you prepare the day with better mood. A little too foamy for me but it's a cleanser that shows you significant difference after a use or two.

EVE LOM CLEANSER

After reading Grace's [That Grace Girl] posted about this cleanser, I was dying to try it to see if it lives up to what it does. Surprisingly, this cleanser proves that the evolution of skincare to be magical, magical. It's a foaming cleanser but works super well on any skin type, cleanses thoroughly and leaving the skin nourished and relaxed. What a way to use this to end the day with.
