Five to Try

9 August 2015

This past week I've been testing out new products and while the summer sun pierces through the windows, there are some essentials we need for the sake of our skin and hair. Today's post is about a few products to try that I've tested out throughout the past month or two.

AVEDA DAMAGE REMEDY DAILY HAIR REPAIR

My hair has been damaged due to the constant dyeing for the past 2-3 years, and as my hair isn't long enough to chop the damaged parts off, I've been trying this out for the past week and I'm happy to say that my hair has significantly looked better. From dry and split ends to silkier, smoother ends.

LAURA MERCIER OIL-FREE FOUNDATION PRIMER

I adore this primer - it's so oil-free but it's so smooth and hydrating on my skin before putting on makeup. I had it tested quite some time ago at Harrods and I can't quite keep it off my mind to be honest, though I've tried a few other primers.

MAC PREP + PRIME SKIN BASE VISAGE

I tried this primer before I switched to the Laura Mercier primer, I liked that it has a little bit of shimmer in it (you won't be able to see it in the cream texture) that will make your skin glow as though you just woke up like this.

TARTE MARACUJA C-BRIGHTER EYE TREATMENT

Fantastic eye cream that I've ever tried! Packed in maracuja oil that brightens up your under-eyes in an instant, and the eye cream also brings the cooling effect on the skin so that your eyes wouldn't look puffy in the morning.

NUXE MULTI-USAGE DRY OIL FOR FACE, BODY AND HAIR

I use this mainly for my hair as well as a serum to prevent the dry and split ends from splitting further - it also does the job well by smoothing the hair and locking the oil. I find this super useful as you can just not use it on the hair, but also on the skin and also body.

Have you tried any of these?
