THE BEAUTY EDIT: FIVE TO TRY

13 September 2015

The past month has led to many many browsing around and shopping for things sometimes you don't need.. But this week I've compiled a few things I have shopped for and are giving them the test. So, five things to try this month!

L'OREAL EXTRAORDINARY OIL SUBLIME HAIR ENHANCER FOR COLORED HAIR

I know I've been using a few hair oils and serums here and there for a few months but, when I saw this on the shelf at my brother's place, I was intrigued to try it. Been trying it out before I bought it myself, it gives my hair the smoothness it needs, especially when it's coloured hair. It contains 6 flower extracts and also provided with a UV filter.

DIOR DIORSKIN NUDE AIR SERUM FOUNDATION

Oh boy, when I have had this tested on my skin when the salesperson at the Sephora store was applying on, I was so impressed by how smooth it gets on the skin. It's a serum foundation but it's liquidy, meant for a thin layer of coverage while your skin is being protected; one little pump is enough for a whole face, a little goes a long way!

TALIKA LIPOCILS EXPERT CONDITIONING GEL FOR EYELASHES

Last year I went for an eyelash extension service to see if it was what people say that you won't have to wear eye makeup for a whole 3 months and it did, but unfortunately quite a many of my eyelashes were pulled out in the process of removing it. This eyelash conditioning gel was quite a unique one for me because I don't know what to expect, but it really does condition, curl and lengthen my eyelashes and they look longer and thicker with a few uses.

URBAN DECAY CANNONBALL ULTRA WATERPROOF MASCARA

Oh boy, my bestfriend is the best recommender I've ever had. She's been telling me to try this mascara because I always require 'waterproof' and I finally gave in and got this mascara. It is super waterproof because it took me a while to remove them at night! Urban Decay sure does have a way of creating amazing products!

URBAN DECAY B6 VITAMIN-INFUSED COMPLEXION PREP-SPRAY

Another Urban Decay product here, this one's similar to the Makeup Setting Spray but it's a little bit different. It's infused with vitamins to protect the skin so you can use it post-moisturise or post-makeup just to set it, it works both ways and it just is one of the new and best products.

Have you tried any of these?
