MY ESSENTIAL BASES THIS WINTER

12 November 2015

For the A/W essentials I think I have come to a point where my skin becomes too dry and sometimes going barefaced would take me straight to pimple-hell. Nonetheless going barefaced is one huge decision I've decided to make and it's a good one - I'll leave that for another post but right now, I'm focusing on the bases I'll be using when it comes to times of in need of a good flawless base.

LAURA MERCIER OIL-FREE TINTED MOISTURISER SPF 20 in NATURAL | £34

Whenever I need a good light base for work or just a meet up with my girls I would reach out for this tinted moisturiser. Personally I have oily skin so I picked the oil-free version - it's very lightweight and a very light base (but still enough to cover any imperfections like dark circles), long lasting and doesn't break me out!

NARS SHEER GLOW FOUNDATION in PUNJAB | £31

I also would love to wear a dewy foundation that gives me the subtle glow on occasional days during the colder months and what other product would I use other than the NARS Sheer Glow? It's been a staple product for me when it comes to a glowy skin look - very promising on the coverage that I would say it's from medium to full coverage and it doesn't ever cake your skin out, its lasting power is one imaginable to stay all day long.

DIORSKIN NUDE AIR SERUM FOUNDATION in 020 | £33

For all those ladies who love a satin finish on your skin that is full-coverage and I promise you, last for the whooole day; this is the foundation you need in your life. Its buildable texture is not thick but liquidy and with a mix of serum targeting to help moisturise the skin while putting a layer to cover the imperfections, this foundation is worthy of my praise.

CHANEL LES BEIGES HEALTHY GLOW SHEER POWDER SPF15 in N°30 | £35

One of the best powders I've ever used and trust me when I say I could also use this only for a whole day without wanting to put on foundation. Infused with white rose and cotton flower plant cells it help with the soothing and protective function with an good SPF of 15. It provides a natural and radiant complexion with or without foundation.

What are your favourite base products for 'tis season?
