BEAUTY: A MAC HAUL

21 January 2016

It's the time again when we all succumb to temptations and spending our yet-to-come pay on makeup products that we have been tempted ever since the beginning of time. I'm a MAC fan and there is no denial that I praise MAC for their ever getting-better beauty products. I was first introduced to MAC when I was 18 years old with their Pro Longwear Foundation and I have been a fan ever since and yesterday I was tempted with a few beauties I would like to share with you today.

MAC PRO LONGWEAR SPF 10 FOUNDATION in NC37 | £25.50

I'm usually an NC25 so it honestly shocked me when NC37 is way lighter (and far less orangey) than NC25 and I just constantly fall back in love with this foundation. If you have oily skin, this is the foundation for you - I've worn it since I was 18 and I just repurchased it because the old one was kind of over dated so you know, a repurchasing is necessary. It doesn't cake up, doesn't leave any dry patches and contains an SPF of 10 (not much but it's still something); it was the perfect foundation for me!

MAC FOILED EYESHADOW in FAERIE FAYRE | £16

Ahhh I couldn't take my eyes off this beautiful foiled eyeshadow! It's super pigmented and the shimmer gold tone is absolutely gorgeous. I spoke about this in my previous post as I'm on trial with a few other products and it's safe to say this made to my list of recent favourites (shhh!). It is easy to blend out with (as usual with all MAC eyeshadows) and it has an amazing staying powder.

MAC BEAUTY POWDER in PEARL SUNSHINE | £20.50

I actually got this along with the foiled eyeshadow but it never made it to the testing post simply because I'm not a constant blush wearer but I think with this beautiful rose shade it will certainly be on my cheeks from now on. It just gives the perfect shade of blush especially this winter with a bit of contouring. Ah!

MAC PREP + PRIME LIP PRIMER | £13.50

I got this tested out on me when I was hunting for a new lipstick and this worked miracles on my lips! I am absolutely blown away by its functions that it has allowed my lipstick to stay on unless met with water, but my lipstick never budged or smudged around other things I accidentally hit my face on (note: my white coloured winter coat)!

MAC MATTE LIPSTICK in TAUPE | £15.50

Just as I said, I was on a hunt for a new lipstick and I probably should have said that I was looking for a brown and nude shade of lipstick and I went for the matte option so this lipstick wow-ed me. I have never worn nude or brown lipsticks before because I never found the right shade for my own skin tone (you gotta admit it's hard being Asian sometimes lol) and this was a perfect match over the lip primer and whoa, I fell in love!

MAC is unexpectedly getting even better with their recent launches and sometimes it may be hard to keep up but I certainly will continue to be a long-term fan!

Have you tried any of these before?
