APRIL FAVOURITES

28 April 2016

After almost 3 months of hiatus I'm finally back on the blogosphere, even though it's almost the end of my second year at university I have been really busy with so many things but I finally have the time to breathe. This calls for the perfect time for my April favourites!

CLINIQUE PEP-START EYE CREAM | £22

I have serious eye-bag problems, literally. When I heard about the new eye cream in town I was keen to try it. So without much thinking I purchased this at the airport when I was coming back from Belfast (duty-free is god-send) with a slightly cheaper price. Little do I know that it works so well under my eyes and it brightens up immediately to give you the 'more awake' look. What a score, Clinique!

CHANEL LES BEIGES HEALTHY GLOW FOUNDATION SPF25/PA+++ in N°30 | £36

This has become a top-lister among my foundations, with CHANEL being a very high-end brand I couldn't resist getting a foundation makeover at the counter. My oh my, the results were perfect: my skin looks like its being given a new layer. The foundation gives a medium to full and blendable coverage, with a satin finish in which I am most infatuated with. One pump and my base is complete.

MAC PRO PALETTE EYESHADOW PAN x 4 | £5

I love gathering eyeshadows and no doubt I adore collecting them shades by shades. With a pan that has been gathering dust for a month as I took my sweet time considering which shades to get, it's affordable as you could switch your eyeshadows over on the magnetic base.

MAC EYESHADOW in "ALL THAT GLITTERS", "BROWN DOWN", "WOOD-WINKED", "STAR VIOLET" | £10 each

Who could resist such beautiful shades from MAC? I love matte shades, but the only matte shade I have on this palette was Brown Down: a matte taupe shade that I use to sweep on my eyelids for a neutral finish. The order from left to right is: All that Glitters, Brown Down, Wood Winked and Star Violet; in which three shades are all glittery. And the shade I love most currently is Star Violet as it's a shimmery violet shade that looks like stars, I wear this on a regular basis now. Remember I said I wasn't a fan of eyeshadows? Well, I am now.

CLINIQUE HIGH IMPACT WATERPROOF MASCARA in 01 BLACK | £17.50

Oh waterproof, waterproof. How could I ever stop wearing waterproof mascaras? Never! I know that Clinique mascaras are always very lengthening and when I tried this out (once again, love trying out new stuff) at the counter at Boots, oh, I love it! A girl can never have to many mascaras!

BUMBLE & BUMBLE BB REPAIR BLOW DRY CREAM | £23

Recently with a recommendation from a good friend I have fallen in love with this hair cream. This hair cream aims to protect your hair on blow dry and any heat styling with its heat-protective and built-in elixir. After using this hair cream my hair is significantly silkier and smoother with less split ends. It smells amazing too, so that's a bonus!

CRABTREE & EVELYN PEAR AND PINK MAGNOLIA PERFUME | £35

My new favourite perfume, even though I thought that the CHANEL No. 5 was going to top the list, but nope. It's gotten into 2nd and this remains the first of my all-time fragrances, it's the most floral scent I've ever had and it's long-lasting that my hair smells of it the very next day. It's perfect not just for this beautiful spring, but it beats any season no matter where you are. J'adore.
